Entering our winery means sharing a journey of taste, hospitality and authenticity.
Winemakers since 1968
Boffa is much more than just a winery: it is the authentic story of a territory, the Langhe, where tradition and passion for hospitality have been interwoven for generations.
Situated in the centre of Barbaresco, our cellar preserves farming knowledge and passes it down from generation to generation, transforming Nebbiolo, Dolcetto and Barbera grapes into wines that express the soul of this extraordinary land.
Each bottle contains a story of dedication, love for nature and respect for its ancient traditions.
The company’s roots lie in the passion of Pietro and Marisa, who begin making wine in 1968. Before then, the grapes were delivered to various wineries in the area, some of them private estates and others cooperatives.
Pietro, a reserved man, dedicated to his work in the cellar, lays the foundations for the production of wines bearing the family label.
A passing of the baton marks a new chapter: Carlo and his wife Laura take over the company, bringing new energy and vision.
Then another Carlo, Laura’s father, begins working at the winery, bring his commercial experience and instilling a sales-oriented approach.
This year marks a turning point, with the opening of a sales outlet directly in the cellar, making Boffa wine even more accessible to wine lovers.
The hospitality project evolves with the inauguration of our guesthouse, Casa Boffa, which quickly becomes a strategic location for guests and tourists wishing to explore the Langhe.
The tradition continues with the new generation, represented by Gabriele, who carries on the family legacy with passion and dedication.
