The Ronchi cru represents one of the most renowned Additional Geographical Mentions (“MGA”) of Barbaresco DOCG
Situated in the immediate vicinity of our winery, Ronchi is characterised by a unique terroir.
The soils here are mostly calcareous-clayey, with a significant presence of bluish marl, giving the wine a particular earthiness and structure. The exposure is predominantly south-easterly, guaranteeing excellent sunshine throughout the day.
This favours optimal ripening of the Nebbiolo grapes, resulting in elegant and complex wines.
Ronchi, blended with the neighbouring cru Cavanna, gives life to our Barbaresco DOCG, a wine that expresses the soul of our terroir with immediacy and pleasantness.
