The vineyards in the Cavanna cru are situated in silty soils facing west and south-west, creating wines with elegant aromas.
The Cavanna cru vineyard, next to our winery, is characterised by a terroir of remarkable finesse.
The soils consist mainly of Sant’ Agata fossil marl, with a silty texture that conveys elegance and delicate aromas to the wine.
West – south-westerly exposure allows the Nebbiolo grapes to benefit from excellent afternoon sunshine, favouring the development of fruity and floral aromas.
Cavanna, blended with the neighbouring Ronchi cru, contributes to the creation of a ready-to-drink Barbaresco, in which the elegance of this cru softens the structure of the neighbouring Ronchi cru, making this wine an excellent introduction to our terroir.
